Individual Therapy: What to expect

From our first consultation, my goal is to create a collaborative space focused on your needs. During the intake, we'll explore what you want to achieve in therapy and develop a resilience-based treatment plan that highlights your strengths and desired changes.

In your second and possibly third session, we'll dive into your family and relationship history. My approach combines Somatic, Attachment, and Systemic methods, recognizing that our well-being is shaped by broader factors like political, socioeconomic, and cultural influences. Understanding these external impacts is key to providing comprehensive mental health care.

Ongoing sessions aim to build a nurturing, and at times challenging space where you can reconnect with your authentic self and body. Ultimately, I believe that you are the expert on yourself and will encourage your self-advocacy in each session. By leading your own healing, you will likely find greater clarity, empowerment, and growth.
